Curing is the maintaining of a satisfactory moisture content and temperature in concrete during its early stages so that desired properties may develop. The curing process is essential for the production of concrete that will have the desired properties. Control of moisture loss and concrete temperature may not be necessary if ambient conditions are optimum; but, otherwise, curing procedures should begin as soon as required.
During the required cure time, the concrete should be protected from premature drying, excessively hot or cold temperatures.

The Big Room system is designed for larger scale automated or semi- automated manufacturing. The Big Room configuration means product can enter the controlled curing environment directly after manufacture and remain in the curing environment until ready for packaging and shipping. The Envirocure® individual lane system is designed for optimum flexibility.The system allows for different climatic parameters in each kiln/lane, thus enabling different product groups to be cured at differing temperatures and humidity. The customer can produce retaining wall, block and paving on the same shift with temperatures and humidity levels to suit each product.
With an individual lane system each product group is loaded individually into each kiln/ lane before the curing process is initiated.

2- AIR CIRCULATION SYSTEMS
The CDS state of the art Air Recirculation System ensures maximum effciency, low running costs and minimal environmental impact.
CDS specialises in the design and manufacturing of Air Circulation Systems for curing treatment within the concrete industry. Each bespoke system is individually and specifically designed to suit the different requirements and needs of each customer. The CDS Humidification System is ideal for increasing the level of relative humidity within our range of Curing Systems. This is achieved by introducing atomised water vapour into the process/system without causing wet areas or water drop out.
The CDS Humidification System produces a highly controllable Ultrafine fog (down to 1micron) and when integrated with humidity sensors for automated control, the relative humidity in the curing atmosphere can be maintained at a precise and consistent level for optimum curing.

The Aircrete Building System has a unique proposition in residential applications, whereby – when building up to 4 stories high – it can provide a full panel-based solution, eliminating all other structural building materials like traditional concrete columns.
For high-rise buildings, partitioning and cladding panel applications allow for a faster realization of the construction project due to the lightweight and accuracy of the material.

Production of concrete elements without damage
Thanks to the unique properties of vacuum handling, it is possible to demould, lift and turn precast concrete products all in one operation. Moreover, no embedded hoist facilities are required, and the surface is not deformed in any way. The load remains fully intact, without disassembling or destroying the mould. Also, due to the divided surface pressure of a suction pad, the curing time of the precast concrete before demoulding is considerably shortened. Instead of at least 24 hours, demoulding is possible after 8 till 10 hours! After removing the concrete product from the mould, you can turn the product and store it either horizontally or vertically. Regardless of its shape and weight.
